These men, pictured in Marakesh’s Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site, are two of the thousands who work anonymously, rarely noticed or acknowledged, pulling and pushing carts day and night, some delivering fruit, some moving construction supplies, some portering luggage, others hauling foul trash. Theyโre the heart and soul that make this city, one that redefines the term sensory overload, function as well as it does.
I hope they’re doing well.
