Park Miejski in the central Polish city of ToruĊ has two claims to fame: it is one of the oldest public city parks in Poland and was, prior to the First World War, the largest recreational area in West Prussia. It now has a third: the sight where I spotted my first Mandarin Duck.

Reflections at the Jubilat bus stop near the edge of old town in Krakow, Poland. ~~ Todayâs Pic du Jour, the siteâs 15th (!) straight, was snapped in Krakow, Poland, on 21 June 2014.
More specifically, 25 snapshots from Polandâs Hel Peninsula, a 35-kilometer long stretch of sand bar that juts northwest to southeast between the Bays of Puck and Gdansk and the Baltic Sea.
