I updated my Common Merganser Gallery today, adding recent images of these elegant ducks from sightings in Poland and Slovenia, for a total of 17 in all. These two here, the female above and male below, were snapped in Torun, Poland. The serrated edges on the male’s bill look sharper than the teeth on my portable handsaw. Link below.
